Power Big MeetSORRY – NO POWER BIG MEET IN LIDKÖPING 2026!
We will NOT be arranging Power Big Meet in Lidköping 2026! However, we are running POWER START OF SUMMER MEET AND POWER END OF SUMMER MEET 2026. BOTH events are usually attended by approximately 3000 USA cars and a VERY large audience. They take place right at the beginning (the last Saturday in May) and at the end of the summer (the last Saturday in August) and in both cases they attract an incredible number of enthusiasts. Free vendor spaces usually mean about 150 vendors at both markets – an important factor for the success of the events over 40 years!!
Interest in large national/international USA car meets has decreased. There are an enormous number of local meets/cruisings every week during the summer. The motivation to drive long distances to a meet has decreased. The BIG MEET startup cost of well over 1 million kronor (and no advance payment) is now difficult to justify – and the risk factor for rain/wind and generally bad weather is high. Very few set off for a car meet when the weather app says RAIN! BIG MEET at the beginning of July has been affected by this in 2023-2025!
Both POWER meets during 2026 can be called Power BIG Meets considering how large they now are!
